Decorative element with chimera and dragon motifs, Western Han Dynasty, 2nd century BC - 1st century AD. - Light beige jade with brown undertones, carved and chiseled. Measures 11.7 x 7 cm. Rectangular piece decorated on one side with a composition of intertwined fantastical creatures and curvilinear motifs. The surface features a central relief line and double hanging holes at either end. The relief shows wear and natural color variations of the stone.
