Polychrome Egyptian funerary mask, Egypt Late Period, 7th-4th century BC. - Polychrome wood with traces of gilding and mineral pigments. Measures 27 x 22 cm. Funerary mask with an idealized face, featuring red lips, rosy cheeks, almond-shaped eyes outlined in black, and arched eyebrows. The head has a black wig and traces of polychromy in ochre and yellow tones. The surface shows losses, cracks, flaking, and eroded areas. The reverse displays an old patina, traces of resin, and mounting holes.
