Globular vessel decorated with vibrant polychrome cloisonné enamels featuring large celestial dragons inscribed within lobed reserves on a background covered with vegetal scrolls and peony blossoms. The surface displays an exuberant ornamental repertoire in turquoise, blue, green, red, and white tones, delineated by fine gilded metal partitions that structure each decorative motif. The facing dragons, with their dynamic expressions, symbolize imperial power, protection, and prosperity within traditional Chinese iconography. The enveloping composition and chromatic intensity fully reflect the technical refinement achieved by the cloisonné workshops of the late Qing period.
