GRAZIANO POMPILI (Modena, 1954) - Mia terra (2002) - Mixed media on metal plate, enamel, and oxidized surface applied to a wooden panel. Dimensions: 38 x 45 x 5 cm. An intense, expressive composition created through a sophisticated combination of mixed media techniques and oxidized surfaces, characteristic of the artistic language developed by Graziano Pompili around memory, landscape, and matter. The work presents a structure with a strong symbolic charge, dominated by the schematic representation of an isolated geometric construction on a dark, textured ground, enveloped in an almost archaeological atmosphere. The use of enamels, oxidations, and splashes generates a vibrant and profoundly tactile surface, in which the passage of time and the transformation of matter take center stage. The whole conveys a powerful sense of silence and poetic evocation, within an aesthetic close to contemporary Italian informalism. Signed and dated on the reverse. Work in perfect condition.
