Our Lady of Mount Carmel with Child, colonial school, 19th-20th century - Oil on canvas. Dimensions 78 x 57 cm; with frame 96 x 79 cm. Devotional image of Our Lady of Mount Carmel standing frontally, crowned, with a wide dark mantle and red lining, holding the Child in her left arm. In her right hand she displays the scapulars, while the Child wears a blue tunic and carries a rosary with a cross. The figure is set against green and red curtains open on both sides, against a cloudy background, and is accompanied at the bottom by two vases of flowers that symmetrically balance the composition.
