Signed d'Agostin - Spanish School, 20th Century - Oil on panel. Dimensions: 30 x 40 cm. A port view with a luminous atmosphere, articulated by small boats resting on calm waters, reflecting hamlets and riverside buildings in a serene and balanced composition. The loose and vibrant brushstrokes construct the volumes with fresh chromatic patches, using a range of blues, greens, and ochres that emphasize the effects of light on the water's surface. The work reveals a landscape sensibility characteristic of 20th-century Spanish painting, close to Impressionist and Post-Impressionist approaches, where capturing the atmosphere takes precedence over descriptive detail. Its appeal lies in the spontaneity of the execution and the chromatic harmony that conveys a sense of calm and visual evocation. Dimensions: 30 x 40 cm.
