Coastal landscape with female figures. European Impressionist school. 19th century - Oil on panel. Dimensions 21 x 28 cm. A coastal scene enlivened by two female figures in the foreground, standing on a sandy path that visually leads to the sea. The composition is structured by the arrangement of trees that frame the horizon, while small boats and rock formations emerge from the calm waters. The figures, depicted from behind, introduce a contemplative dimension that accentuates the spatial depth and serenity of the surroundings. The brushwork is loose and vibrant, with particular attention to light and atmospheric effects, achieving a sense of visual immediacy characteristic of late 19th-century landscape painting. The chromatic harmony of blues, ochres, and greens reinforces the feeling of calm and balance. The work belongs to the European Impressionist and Post-Impressionist tradition, which focused on capturing natural light and the poetic evocation of the landscape. It is notable for its delicate atmospheric sensitivity and the balanced integration of figure and nature. Dimensions 21 x 28 cm.
