Chevalier ring with rubies and diamonds. 18-karat yellow gold and platinum. Indicated weight 7.1 grams. Circa 1939–1940. 20th century - 18-karat yellow gold, platinum accents, two faceted square-cut rubies, and nine old-cut brilliant-cut natural diamonds. Front measures 2.5 cm; Tatum 14 (54); diameter 17.3 mm. This retro-style chevalier ring features a pronounced geometric tank-like volume, articulated by a raised front adorned with two square-cut rubies. Nine old-cut brilliant-cut white diamonds complete the composition, distributed two on each side and five in the central band. The 18-karat yellow gold setting incorporates platinum accents and meticulously chased floral scrollwork on the sides, while the polished band balances the ornamental richness of the front. Its robust structure, the symmetry of the gems, and the architectural character of the design reflect the jewelry aesthetic of 1939–1940.
