Pendant with coral, cameo, pearl, and topaz. Sterling silver with gold plating. Weight: 15 grams - Silver with gold plating, worked with wrapped wire, natural Mediterranean coral, carved shell, baroque pearl, blue topaz, and citrine topaz. Measures 7.1 x 3.2 cm; coral branch 4.8 cm; coral cabochon 15 mm. Weight 15 grams. This handcrafted pendant from Sicily features a vertically arranged salmon-colored coral branch, a cameo in the profile of a classical lady, an oval red coral cabochon, an irregular baroque pearl, and two faceted topazes, one blue and one citrine. The various elements are linked by a sinuous structure of gold-plated metallic wire, which articulates the composition and reinforces its organic and ornamental character.
