[Alexey Kruchenykh (1886-1968)-futurist poet.

He introduced zaum into poetry, that is, an abstract, non-objective language, "cleansed of everyday dirt", asserting the poet's right to use "chopped words, half-words and their bizarre cunning combinations". Illustration in the publication of the artist N. Nagorskaya. This publication includes the following articles: "the devil and the speech-makers", "Secret vices of academicians", "the word as Such", "Declarations". In the book "Apocalypse" is a sensitive observation of the poet on the sound side of the word, above the audible and rhythmic shifts of Russian verse, over the glossolalia of the Russian theatre. The author does not give complete theoretical constructions, but only the material that will be included (and partly already included) in the creation of a new poetics. "Apocalypse" is also interesting as a pamphlet on Russian literature before the futurists, especially in the articles "the devil and the speech makers" and "Secret vices of academics".

Natalia Nagorskaya (1895-1983) - artist, graphic artist. N. Nagorskaya's engravings are distinguished by great skill and a fine sense of style. The line, spot, and chiaroscuro fall on the paper with extraordinary precision and expressiveness.]
