Public and political figure, publicist, scientist and geologist. He was associated with the Narodnaya Volya organization and distributed its publications. I was in prison, then in exile. In 1900, he emigrated to France. He graduated from the faculty of mathematics of the Sorbonne and the Mining Institute in Paris (1904). He worked as a mining engineer.
