Leningrad. Printing house LD UN-2. 1943, 256 p., portrait. Hardcover with embossed calico cover, lasse and color insert, miniature format: 5.2 X 7.8 cm.
The book was published in the besieged and hungry Leningrad, signed for publication on September 11, 1943. Speeches, orders, answers to questions from US correspondents in the period 1941-43. It begins with a speech on the radio on July 3, 1941: "Citizens! Comrades, Brothers and sisters! …I appeal to you, my friends..." The circulation was sent to the partisan detachments of the Leningrad region, as evidenced by the color insert: "To the heroic people's avengers, partisans and partisans from the working people of LENINGRAD." However, the price of the book is indicated: 3 rubles.
