[On December 20, 1920, according to the Decree of the People's Commissariat of Education, Azerneshr and AZROST, the State Free Satire-Agit Theater was officially opened in Baku. The theater was formed on the basis of the troupe of the N. F. Baliyev theater "The Bat" that had collapsed in Tbilisi and part of the collective of the Momus theater, which was disbanded by the decision of the revolutionary government.
The head of the theater and the main director was V. Schweitzer, the administrator-P. Oreshkov, the writer-N. Gorodetskaya. The theater existed until 1923.]
