Tyagunov Vladimir Petrovich. Painter. 1907-1982. Born on June 25, 1907 in Moscow. In 1940 he graduated from the Higher Art and Technical Institute. The beginning of creative work in 1931. The artist was one of the founders and veterans of the Moscow Regional Union of Artists. He worked in the genres of landscape, portrait, thematic painting. `Fame and recognition came to him very early. The painting "The First Pioneer Meeting", painted by him in 1930, was immediately purchased for the largest collection of the country - the Tretyakov Gallery. Trips around the country and the Arctic expedition on the icebreaker "Krasin" provided the artist with extensive material for creativity. In his thematic paintings and numerous landscapes - "Caravan for the winter", "Icebreaker" Krasin ", " Novaya Zemlya "- the harsh beauty of the Arctic, courageous people conquering these lands. He is also the author of bright pictures of sunny Georgia, discreet, but poetic landscapes of the Moscow region. For each work, the artist found special colors and intonations that convey its charm and uniqueness. Member of the Moscow Association of Artists since 1932. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR since 1932. Since 1947, he has been invariably elected as a member of the board of MOOSKh In 1949 he was the executive secretary of the board of the MOOSKh. He was repeatedly elected a delegate to republican and all-Union congresses of the Union of Artists, was a member of the board of the Art Fund of the USSR. Since 1966, he was the chief artist of the Noginsk workshop of the Mosoblkhudozhfond, was a member of the artistic and architectural and artistic councils at the Noginsk City Executive Committee.
