Lot of 2 early Israeli copper plates - Lot of 2 early copper plates, circa the middle of the 20th century, including: 1. A plate decorated in the center with a portrait relief of Theodor Herzl, the contract of the Jewish state and an embossed inscription from his well-known saying 'If you want it, it is not a legend', in the lower part of the relief there is a worn inscription 'Made in Palestine' (probably made in the middle of the late 1940s before the establishment of the state), 2. A plate decorated in the center with the image of the Tower of David and around rich hand-embroidered decorations, signed and bearing a purchase tax stamp on the back. Diameter: 22-30 cm, total weight: 817 g. Reasonable wear and age marks, patina.
