Antique and high-quality hand-painted miniature ”man” - Antique and high-quality hand-painted miniature ”man”, 19th century, very high-quality hand-painted in the image of a gentleman in period clothing, framed under concave glass in a gilded metal frame, the back of the miniature looks like embroidered hair (?) - probably made as a memorial to a deceased relative - similar to Victorian-era memorial brooches. With a gilded retaining ring at the top, dimensions: 7.5X6.2 cm. The back of the miniature is covered with cracked glass.
