Metal plaque of a steam passenger ship of the Norddeutscher Lloyd company - designer Musterschutz, circa early 20th century, designed as a frame with a foot, made of pewter, in the center decorated with a picture of a passenger ship of the company sailing in the stormy waters of the North Sea (Atlantic Ocean) on the route between Germany and the United States, on the right side the figure of a German warrior holding the royal emblem, on the left side the Statue of Liberty standing in New York, United States, above in the center the German eagle emblem and the naval flags, the United States and Germany, on the bottom side the inscription of the name of the company and the ship Norddeutscher Lloyd Bremen. On the back of the plaque is a foot for support. Apparently created on special order, we could not find an identical plaque anywhere on the internet! Dimensions: 19.5X34 cm, 467 g.
