High quality vintage English ostrich leather bag - A quality vintage English ostrich leather bag, circa 1940s-1950s, presented together with the original coin purse and two small carrying mirrors, designed with curved sides and a top bar and ostrich leather buckle. The ostrich leather is in very good condition, minimal scuffs mainly along the edges with no cracks, has acquired a lovely patina due to age. The handle is still sturdy and strong with minimal creases along the edges, and it folds to the side with a rotating mechanism, useful for storage. There is a pull tab on the front to open. The gilded buckle and frame have minimal scuffs or loss of gilding and are still shiny. The interior is lined with brown suede fabric. In clean condition with almost no signs of age or use (amazing considering the age of the bag). The interior bears the manufacturer's label 'F' England. Dimensions: 13X26 cm.
