Old Persian Miniature - ”Hunting Game” - Old Persian miniature, circa mid-20th century, painted with a high-quality and magnificent hand painting by an artisan on off-white plaque (probably from a polymer casting/ground iv-ory/resin) in the appearance of a hunting game, attached to the center of a panel decorated with a hand-painted repeating floral pattern, framed under glass in a wooden frame with typical Persian Khatam micro-mosaic decorated with repeating geometric ornaments, bone and copper inlay, miniature dimensions: 4X20.5 cm, frame dimensions: 18X38 cm. In good condition: defects to the frame.
