Old Persian Miniature - ”Tea Time” - Old Persian miniature, circa mid-20th century, hand-painted by a master artisan of excellent quality on off-white plaque (probably from a polymer casting/ground iv-ory/resin) depicting tea time in the court of the Persian Shah, attached to the center of a panel decorated with a hand-painted repeating floral pattern, framed under glass in a wooden frame with typical Persian Khatam micro-mosaic decorated with repeating geometric ornaments, bone and copper inlay, miniature dimensions: 4.5X19.5 cm, frame dimensions: 13X25.5 cm. In good condition: defects to the frame.
