Old Japanese wooden jewelry box - An old Japanese wooden jewelry box, circa mid-20th century, made of reddish rosewood and decorated with a lid with handmade decorations in mother-of-pearl inlay and carved yellow organic material, two Japanese women in traditional dress and floral decorations combined with delicate gilding, copper hinges and a fitting for a matching lock, interior lined with pink velvet with a compartment on the inside of the lid.
