Total weight: 740 gr. The bookplate belongs to Dr. Minde Pouet and was made by the great graphic artist Christian Ferdinand Morawe in 1904. Signed in the plate. This bookplate is well known and can be found in specialized publications and trade catalogues. Christian Ferdinand Morawe (1865–1931) Christian Ferdinand Morawe was a German graphic artist active in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. He is best known for his refined ex libris (bookplate) designs, created in the Jugendstil (Art Nouveau) style, which flourished around 1900. Morawe's work often featured intricate line ornamentation, stylized portraits, and heraldic motifs.
