Cartridge container pouch for carrying bullets for ancient Ottoman/Balkan weapons - Antique Ottoman/Balkan weapon cartridge pouch (medoulàri), 19th century, the container is designed in a rectangular model with a brass lid, decorated with typical Balkan-style ornaments and decorated at the bottom with four dangling hanging tassels.. A medoulàri container was worn on a belt with a palaska cartridge pouch and a gunpowder flask. An old leather strap (possibly the original) is attached to the container for carrying. Total length: 28 cm, 216 g.  * Medoulàri was used by the Ottomans, Greeks, Serbs, Croats, Bulgarians, Albanians and all other Balkan countries.
