833 Silver Powder Box by Leo Gersting, Palestine - 833 Silver Powder Box made by Leo Gersting, Palestine, British Mandate period, circa 1930s-40's, souvenir of the Holy Land, designed in a round pattern, and decorated with handmade engravings with the appearance of the Tower of David and the Old City wall of Jerusalem, engraved with Hebrew inscription.  Includes a mirror on the inside of the lid and a powder pad. The bottom side is stamped with the manufacturer's initials 'LG' and the silver stamp '833'.  Diameter: 7.2 cm. Weight (gross): 61 g. In very good condition, slight wear and tear, especially patina.
