Filigree Egg Ornament, Old Russian Lacquer. - Old Russian ornament, 20th century, made of silver-toned metal, designed as an egg mounted on a raised round base, crafted in filigree wirework with plant motifs. Features two opening doors and a lacquered egg hand-painted with a depiction of buildings in Red Square, Moscow. Set with two oval red cabochon stones. Height: 12.5 cm. Weight: 245 g. Minor wear, slight patina abrasion.
