Antique silver-plated candy dish box, made by WMF Germany. - Antique candy dish box, manufactured by WMF Germany, late 19th century, made of brass plated with silver, designed in a round model with two legs shaped like ram heads and two legs shaped like vine tendrils, with vine decorations around. The lid is adorned with embossed plant decorations. Matching cobalt glass interior (possibly later addition?). The lid may not be original but matches and appears to be from the same period. The dish is signed near one of the ram head legs. Diameter: 11.5 cm. Weight: 440 g. Slight wear to the silver plating.
