Heinrich Zador, also known as Henry Bela Zador and under other spellings, (born June 24, 1905, in Budapest, Austria-Hungary; died October 3, 1981, in Bnei Brak) was an Israeli writer. Heinrich Zador studied economics, psychology, and music in Zurich and Berlin, receiving his doctorate in economics from the University of Zurich in 1928. From 1930 onward, he lived in Czechoslovakia and was active in Zionism. In 1939, he fled to Palestine and settled in Bnei Brak. He supported himself by working as an insurance clerk and as the manager of a cannery. Zador wrote several novels in German and also wrote in Hungarian, Hebrew, and English. In 1949, he won a short story competition in London. In the 1970s, he regularly published political analyses for the journal Europäische Wehrkunde (European Military Studies). He was a member of the Association of German-Speaking Writers in Israel.
