Lot of 2 Old Persian Miniatures - Lot of 2 old Persian miniatures, circa mid-20th century, including: A miniature depicting a hunting scene and a second depicting a courtyard meeting of figures. Hand-painted by an artist on an off-white plaque (presumably polymer cast / ground iv-ory / resin). Mounted at the center of boards covered in red/black fabric. Framed under glass in characteristic Persian Khatam micro-mosaic wooden frames decorated with repeating geometric inlay of bone and copper. With easel-back stands on the reverse for display on a table. Miniature dimensions: 9×4 and 4×10 cm. Frame dimensions: 16.7×13 and 10×18 cm. In good condition: minor blemishes to the frames. 437 g.
