Assortment of 8 Antique French Illustrated Prints - Assortment of 8 antique French prints, 19th century, copper engravings with quality hand-colouring, figures in various scenes, in traditional period costume. Below each illustration a caption describing the subject. Framed with green passe-partout with individual windows for each print. Glazed, in a period black wood and gesso frame (circa the 1920s). A pencil inscription dated 1928 appears to the reverse. Frame dimensions: 21.5 × 27 cm. The prints in overall good condition, with light yellowing. Damages and scorch marks to the frame.
