Old Quality European Porcelain (Bisque) Doll - Old quality European porcelain (bisque) doll, second half of the 20th century. A woman dressed in an elaborate Victorian-style costume. Made of flesh-toned porcelain: head, hands, and feet; cloth-padded body, dressed in a period evening gown made from a combination of velvet and satin in deep green tones. The gown is decorated with hand-applied beadwork featuring plastic beads in a floral and other designs. Puffed sleeves with matching bead trim at the cuffs. Head with blond hair combined with a headpiece matching the gown.  Boots made of black cardboard.  Height: 33 cm. 390 g. Generally in good condition; some fading in various areas, slight soiling.
