Quality Carved Wood Owl figurine Sculpture - Quality carved wood owl figurine sculpture, second half of the 20th century. Carved from a single piece of heavy, solid hardwood, designed in a modernist style with clean, smooth geometric lines. Abstract and schematic facial features: two round, recessed eyes emphasized by large circular ridges, a narrow sharp beak extending directly from the forehead line, and two small pointed ears. The body of the sculpture is designed in a form that widens toward the upper portion, with a rounded base. Height: 18 cm. Base diameter: 10 cm. 1.04 kg. Light wear and superficial surface cracks at the top.
