A maxi dress in thick knitted viscose fabric with a nostalgic geometric design, a straight cut, short sleeves, and a pointed polo neck. Decorated with a rich geometric print featuring interlocking diamond and square motifs in a warm, period-typical color palette of orange, mustard, charcoal gray, and chocolate brown. The front of the dress is decorated along its full length with a row of prominent golden buttons. Size 44. Total length: approximately 144 cm. In very good condition. * Aled Couture was a luxury Israeli fashion house active in the 1960s and 1970s, known for its distinctive eveningwear and metallic knitwear combining Middle Eastern and exotic styles. The brand's head designer was Jerry Melitz, a high-end fashion designer and former commercial illustrator, who worked in Tel Aviv. The company's garments were noted for their use of innovative-for-the-period fabrics such as Lurex, metallic knitwear, dramatic maxi dresses, wide ”angel wing” sleeves, and statement belts.
