Pair of Antique Ethnic Coin-Tassel Headdress Ornaments - Pair of antique ethnic coin-tassel headdress ornaments, Middle East, circa 1900, apparently formerly part of a bridal costume. Made of a metal alloy, apparently incorporating a very low percentage of silver, handworked raised relief work, each comprising a decorated central cylindrical metal tube with simple filigree work incorporating soldering, from which dome-shaped terminals branch, suspending link chains with antique Ottoman coins at their ends. Total weight: 375 g. Length: approx. 28 cm. Reasonable wear, patina.
