Traditional Yemenite Amulet Necklace ”Lazem” - Traditional Yemenite amulet necklace ”Lazem”, circa 1900,  Made of a metal alloy incorporating low-grade silver, comprising 3 central rectangular plaques and 2 triangular plaques at the ends, decorated with hand filigree work.  These are connected by 6 beaded chains. From the rectangular plaques hang three elongated cylindrical amulet cases (”Tomar”), from each of which short chains with bell drops are suspended, sounding when in motion. The ends of the necklace are finished with white fabric threads. Total weight: 142 g. Total length: 60 cm. Length of pendant section: 30 cm. Height of pendant section: 10 cm.
