Old Quality Decorative Metal Figurine, ”The Basket Seller” - Old quality decorative metal figurine, ”The Basket Seller”. Made in the Viennese style, Europe, circa 1900. A figural piece in an Orientalist style. Baskets of golden brass wire, hand-woven, forming the baskets (one carried on the back and one held in the hand).  Mounted on a round golden brass base.  Use unknown; possibly intended for matches, business card storage, or simply as a decorative ornament for a writing desk to inspire interesting conversation. Height: 12.5 cm. 205 g. Light wear.
