Antique Victorian Pink Opaline Glass Cookie / Biscuit Jar - Antique Victorian pink opaline glass cookie jar, circa 1900. Semi-opaque pink opaline glass in a pastel pink tone, designed with a wide cylindrical body with rounded knops and a rim fitted with a silver-toned metal band and a stylized arched handle.  Decorated with hand-painting by an artisan depicting a wreath of daisy flowers in white, orange, and yellow interwoven with green leaves and foliate scrollwork (faintly reminiscent of the Art Nouveau style). Delicate gilt decorations.  Lid missing! Height: 17.5 cm. Including handle: 25.5 cm. Maximum diameter: 13 cm. 405 g.
