Antique European Miniature Hand-Painted Portrait, ”Child” – 19th Century - Antique European miniature hand-painted portrait, ”Child” – 19th century. Apparently painted on a natural yellow organic material, in watercolors; a half-length portrait depicting a young child with short blond hair and light eyes, looking directly at the viewer. The child is dressed in a dark blue garment with a lace collar.  Framed under glass in an oval brass frame, mounted within a blue velvet board, attached to a brown leather case (which apparently had a closing cover — missing).  Dimensions: 5.5×4.5 cm. Overall dimensions: 10.5×7.5 cm. Light wear. 47 g
