Antique Tortoiseshell Purse - Antique tortoiseshell purse, circa 1900. Designed in a rounded rectangular form with two tortoiseshell panels joined by a hinge, the front decorated with hand-worked inlay and raised-relief silver ornament in a foliate pattern, with an engraved owner's monogram. Interior lined in red fabric, divided into compartments, with a metal clasp closure. Dimensions: 7×4.7×1.5 cm. 34 g. Several minor flaws.
