Antique Art Deco Glass Bead-Embroidered Handbag — Egyptian Revival Style - Antique Art Deco glass bead-embroidered handbag, circa 1920s–30s. Crafted with great skill in complex, dense beadwork in earth tones, bronze, and gold, forming at the center a pattern of white daisy flowers, terminating in a diamond pattern and a colorful swinging bead tassel (Tassel) at the lower section.  The upper portion of the bag incorporates dark brown fabric attached to a rigid, semi-circular celluloid frame with a luxurious tortoiseshell-like appearance, decorated with raised golden engravings, at their center a mythological phoenix figure surrounded by arabesques and fan motifs (in the Egyptian Revival style). The interior of the bag is lined in a light cream-toned fabric with a gathered finish and a small interior pocket. The beadwork and frame are well preserved, with the interior lining intact. The dark handle is detached on its left side and restoration of the attachment to the frame is required.  The closure button mechanism is not functioning.  Dimensions: 21×14 cm. 170 g.
