A Pair of Old Ethnic Islamic Resin Amber Prayer Beads - A pair of old ethnic Islamic resin prayer beads, 20th century. Composed of beads in a polymeric resin material simulating amber in natural orange-yellow amber tones. One strand comprises 19 elliptical beads in yellow-orange tones strung on a brown fabric cord. Bead dimensions: 27 × 15 mm.  The second is a strand of elongated beads in a semi-transparent orange tone, alternately interspersed with hand-hammered decorative metal elements. Length: 44–60 cm. 283 g. Light wear, mainly age patina to the metal components.
