A Trio of Antique French Decorated Bronze and Copper Vessels with Engravings after Works by the Artist Hippolyte François Moreau (Hippolyte Francois Moreau) - A trio of antique Neo-French bronze and copper vessels, circa the late 19th century. Three cylindrical containers in graduated sizes, decorated with the decorative metalwork familiar from the Belle Époque period, after works by the French artist Hippolyte François Moreau (Hippolyte Francois Moreau).  Made of bronze with a gilt patina and clad with blackened metal plaques decorated with engravings after the artist's works: various romantic scenes such as ”L'Aveu” (The Confession) — a famous bronze sculpture he designed — ”Un Petit Baiser” (A Little Kiss), and others.  Judging by their quality, the vessels appear to have been produced by a leading and high-quality foundry in France. Height: 6.5–11 cm. Diameter: 5.5–8.5 cm. Total weight: 1.075 kg. Regrettably, only the largest vessel retains its lid; the lids of the medium and small vessels are missing! In good condition, light wear, mainly age patina.
