American Art Nouveau Sterling Silver 925 and Rock Crystal Toilet Set Jar by Whiting Manufacturing - American Art Nouveau sterling silver 925 and rock crystal toilet set jar by Whiting Manufacturing, circa late 19th century.  Rock crystal glass jar of circular form, hand-cut with quality hand polishing in characteristic period patterns.  Upper collar and hinged lid executed in silver, the lid decorated with hand-raised relief work depicting flowers and foliage in the Art Nouveau style.  Interior gilded.  Marked with the silver hallmark and maker's mark (lion with the letter W). Total gross weight: 442 g. Height: 11.5 cm. Diameter: 8 cm. Light wear, light patina.
