Vintage Luxury Salad Serving Set (Spoon and Fork) – Christofle, Paris, Silver-Plated Handles with Natural Horn – France - A luxury salad serving set comprising a matching spoon and fork from the renowned French house Christofle, Paris. The handles are made of heavy, high-quality thick silver plating. The design is classic and regal in the Louis XV style, combining flowing lines with traditional shell ornamentation. The terminal of the handle features a motif characteristic of the brand's top-tier models (such as the well-known Marly pattern). The tines of the fork and the bowl of the spoon are crafted and carved from high-quality natural horn in a honey-toned, semi-translucent finish. The use of natural horn is considered a hallmark of aristocratic sets, as it does not alter the taste of food and preserves the integrity of precious serving bowls. Marks and authenticity: At the neck of the handle, at the junction with the brass element, the official mark of the French silver house is clearly struck: CHRISTOFLE in classic square letters. The set is preserved in excellent vintage condition, free of cracks or flaws in the natural horn, with a beautiful and delicate patina on the silver parts retaining a wonderful luster.
