Rich Vintage Album of Classic European Die-Cuts / Scraps — Mid-20th Century - An original and charming album densely filled with a collection of classic European die-cuts (Scraps / Die-Cuts). England / Germany, approximately 1950s–1970s. The album, bound in a ring binder, contains dozens of pages packed with colorful die-cuts carefully affixed throughout. The collection presents traditional European illustrations and a wide variety of classic subjects: fairy-tale figures (such as Little Red Riding Hood), familiar American animated characters (Donald Duck and Goofy), nostalgic Christmas illustrations (Santa Claus and elves), alongside charming illustrations of children in period dress, farm animals, birds, and an impressive series of dog breeds (Bulldog, Pomeranian, Fox Terrier, and more). The die-cuts display quality lithographic printing with vivid colors; some include delicate glitter finishes and others bear the classic and sought-after German production mark (”Made in Germany”). Condition good; the album pages show natural yellowing over time, which adds to its authenticity, and the die-cuts themselves are well preserved, with vivid and bright colors and no significant tears.
