Large Vintage Hand-Painted Ceramics Bowl, ”Harsa” (Harsa), Designed by Nehemia Azaz — 1950s - A large vintage ceramics bowl from the legendary art studio of the ”Harsa” workshop, which operated in the 1950s and became a landmark in local design. The bowl was designed by the noted sculptor and painter Nehemia Azaz, founder and director of the studio, who drew inspiration from the wild landscape, colors, and quiet of the Negev in those years. The meticulous hand-painted decoration combines a fascinating abstract geometric composition of squares, frames, and winding reed-like lines, spread in complete harmony and perfect rhythm around the sunken center of the vessel. Marked on the underside.  Diameter: 35 cm. 2.052 kg. Please note — condition clarification: the item is offered for sale complete and intact, with no fractures, rim flaws, or adhesions; however, it includes a crack of approximately 16 cm (hairline fracture) running through its base. Despite this flaw, the original painted glaze and glazing are preserved in excellent condition, the colors are vivid and authentic, and the bowl is strong, fully stable, and ready for display.
