Assortment of 3 Original Vintage Garments – ”Lavi” Aircraft Project and Israel Aerospace Industries, 1980s - A lot of three entirely original garments from the period of development of the Israeli ”Lavi” fighter aircraft (a project cancelled in 1987). The items were produced domestically by the nostalgic textile manufacturer ”Tex-Mit” (of Unidress – official clothing supplier to Israel Aerospace Industries) and were distributed in the 1980s to employees and their family members. The lot comprises: 1. Original white sweatshirt: bearing the iconic, colorful print of the Lavi aircraft breaking forth from a roaring lion, with the branded lettering LAVI. (Original ”Tex-Mit / Unidress” label, Made in Israel.) 2. Original light-blue sweatshirt: produced by the same official manufacturer, bearing a designed print of the aircraft project emblem / engineering division of Israel Aerospace Industries (wings, drawn sword, and gear wheel). 3. White cotton tank top: bearing a front blue print of the aircraft and the combined Hebrew/English lettering ”LAVI / לביא”. Sizes and markings: L–XL (youth/period cut). In good condition; prints are sharp and well-preserved with no peeling. The white tank top exhibits some pilling and light storage/age stains typical of white textile items that have been stored and used.  840 g.
