Rare Historical and Military Collection of 9 Postcards and Documents from the Third Reich and World War II (1910–1945) - A collection of 9 original and authentic paper items — postcards and official documents — primarily from the period of the Third Reich and World War II (1933–1945). The collection presents a rare and highly significant combination of historical postal items alongside official military and civilian documents bearing ink stamps, period postage stamps, and sought-after historical interest. Within the lot of 9 complete items, several points of particular historical and dramatic interest may be noted: * Official Wehrmacht conscription/summons order (January 1941): A dramatic official document bearing the heading ”Aufforderung” (demand/summons). Produced in Berlin on 17 January 1941, ordering a civilian to appear on 20 January 1941 before the district conscription office (Wehrbezirks-Kommando Berlin VIII). The document bears an official blue ink stamp of the conscription command decorated with the Reich eagle. * Rare political propaganda postcard (”Wir danken unserm Führer”): An iconic color postcard bearing the slogan ”We thank our Führer, ” presenting a graphic propaganda map depicting the expansion of Germany's borders and the annexation of territories (Austria and the Sudetenland) in 1938. * Postal items from occupied Poland (1939): An official postcard bearing Gothic lettering commemorating the entry of the Third Reich-era Governor-General into the occupied Polish territories (Generalgouvernement), dated 7 November 1939 — just two months after the outbreak of the war — carrying a special stamp and official postmark. Also included is a black-and-white real-photo postcard of the municipal theater in the occupied city of Posen (Stadttheater in Posen / Poznań). Vintage postcards and early international mail: * An early Dutch postcard from 1910 sent from the Netherlands to Germany (the Greifswald area), densely filled with handwriting. * A portrait postcard of the pioneering German physician and researcher Emil von Behring. * Postcards depicting flower fields and European landscapes characteristic of the early twentieth century. In good to very good condition. The paper is stable; the original ink stamps (both black and blue) are sharp, clear, and entirely legible; and the period postage stamps are intact and well-adhered. Some of the postcards and documents show light, natural age-related wear at the margins or minor foxing.
