Three US Walking Liberty 90% Silver Half Dollars, 1940-1945 - Three US Walking Liberty half dollars dated 1940, 1942, and 1945. These coins are struck in 90% silver. The obverse features the Walking Liberty design and the reverse features the eagle design. Inscriptions on the obverse include LIBERTY and IN GOD WE TRUST. Inscriptions on the reverse include UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, and HALF DOLLAR. No mint marks are visible on the reverse of these specimens, identifying them as products of the Philadelphia Mint. The Walking Liberty series was designed by Adolph A.
