Antique Hand-Held Ophthalmoscope with Three Lenses and Wooden Case - This lot features an antique medical diagnostic instrument identified as a hand-held ophthalmoscope. The instrument is constructed with a tapered black handle, likely made of turned wood or vulcanite, which is connected to a circular disk head via a nickel-plated metal ferrule. The disk head is finished in a dark material, such as vulcanite or painted metal, and features a small central viewing aperture.
