Joe Kovalovich Hand-Carved Painted Wood Rubber Chicken Sculpture - A hand-carved and painted wooden folk art sculpture by Joe Kovalovich, executed in the form of an elongated novelty rubber chicken. The sculpture features a pale yellow textured body, small wings, and exceptionally long legs terminating in carved feet with grey-painted claws. The head is detailed with red-painted wattles and a comb, a grey-painted beak, and inset glass or bead eyes. A length of twine cord is tied around the right leg. 24 1/8 inches long 6 1/2 inches wide.
